I took figure skating lessons a couple of years ago, but I eventually quit. Now, I'm planning to start lessons again, but I didn't want to have to use the uncomfortable rental skates at the rink or pay 0 for a name brand pair. I was afraid that these skates would be terrible because they're so cheap, but they're great! They're probably the most comfortable skates I've ever worn, they offer plenty of support for beginner and intermediate figure skaters, and they're 1/15th the price of many skates of the same quality. The laces do come untied easily at first, but eventually, they get worn in.

Make sure to order one size smaller than your regular shoe size. I wear an 8 shoe, and 7 skates were the perfect size.

I expected a nightmare during the "break-in" period but these skates are actually very comfortable! They are way better than the crappy rentals at the ice rink. If you're considering these skates, I definitely recomend them. By the way, someone suggested buying one size small. I'm not sure what to say about that except that I wear a size 7 normally and size 7 in these skates was perfect for me.

These shoes are so comfortable. The turquoise color is so easy on the eyes. It came with another pair of laces in turquoise, they seem a little short for me, but its not a problem since I skip the last 2 holes so I cant tie my lazy laces. I get them dirty and dusty a lot but cleaning up is easy, I just pat the dirt away with my hands of a damp cloth. Very pretty and very comfortable. I wear them to work all the time.
