I used to feel pain on knees at the end of jogging and also the next day if I jog more than 3 miles at once. Not after I got this pair of shoes. It is light while provides excellent support. Reduces the impact on my knees as well. However, it is not the best choice for gym classes like kick-boxing or step. You have chance of spraining your ankles because of the structure of the sole. But for jogging, it is one of the best.

If you tend to have a wider foot, these are narrow. Usually I'm fine with gym shoes and just need a wide in some dress shoes for a cofortable fit, these feel narrow to me. Okay, I bought them for the gym because lets face it where else are you going to wear those spring loaded shoes While running I felt they had little arch support or something because my arches started hurting almost right away. Therefore the next gym visit I took my old addidas gym shoes to my tredmill and left these behind. So much for not having to wear them outside the gym. So if you are looking for a running shoe I'd say no go on these just because of the lacking support. They are flexible and of good quality. I would buy .5 size bigger unless you have a narrow foot.

Added 12/2007: Okay I've had these about a year now and I have to make an obvious comment I forgot to mention earlier. I have only worn these shoes a handful of times now, the reason, THE LACES ARE TOO SHORT! The laces are very nice and are great quality, they match perfectly but they are too short. This makes it a hassle to tie the shoe, which makes it the last choice. I know I should just buy some laces and call it a day but then I would have to go shopping for laces and there are so many other great things to shop for, why bother on laces.

These sneakers are great. I've got three pairs in all different colors. Super comfortable and supportive for lots of activity. Even though they are not my primary running sneaker they are a great substitute when I use them. Very stylish and I always get lots of compliments. Have always been a big fan of Puma!!

These shoes are great. On top of being really good looking, they also feel really good and have a lot of support and cushion. The tongue of the shoe is connected to the inner sides of it so it might be a little hard to get your foot in but I personally don't have any problem with this. I love these and will be ordering another pair as soon as I find a great deal again!

I bought these shoes for my first half marathon. They were great. I felt like I was running on little pillows. I only buy Asics they really last almost too long, These were replacing my 1120 which I really didn't know how wore they really were until I got the 2150.

I really like the way these shoes fit, except for one thing. The way the heel is designed, it rubs blisters on my inner heel every time I wore them for the first few times. However, I did notice that the muscles in my ankles and calves weren't nearly as fatigued as with my last shoes. Overall, they're a great shoe and I'd buy them again. Once they are broken in, they feel as good as they look.

I was diagnosed with severe plantar facitis after I fractured my foot. I had been wearing heels and sandles daily for probably 20 years. I never knew you could have these types of injury to your feet. Mostly everybody I speak to were able to heal from it within a month or so, and they usually only have it in one foot, not both like me. For those of you who don't know, PF is very painful to the heels, arches and balls of your feet and also affect your calf muscles. I was devastated when the doctor said I had to wear gyn shoes for a while until I heal. Why? Because I could not walk on the bottoms of my feet! They would hurt so bad that I would end up walking on my tip toes or the sides of my feet all day! Gym shoes are not my style AT ALL but I couldn't take it any more.

I had some Nike in the past so I pulled those out. TERRIBLE, even with an insert.. I had some brand new Avia that I never wore before. TERRIBLE. My knee would get hot and my feet and legs would hurt. I tried on EZSpirit. Oh my goodness, terrible. My therapist suggested a running shoe because it should give more support through the ball of the foot. So I found a actual running store who recommended this shoe based on need, stride, stance. WOW!!!! I never knew sneakers could feel like this. And I never ever would have spent this kind of money if it was not for comfort - was my max. AMAZING shoe!!

I tried on some other brands just to be sure like new balance, asics, brooks and nothing could compare to this shoe for comfort, support, stability and looks. I've had the grey/yellow and just purchase my second paid in silver/pink. I just ordered the TR version for the winter months. Yes. I wear them daily, with everthing, everywhere, church, work, etc, so they have to be somewhat cute and versitile. But the most important things in support and comfort. Although my injury happened a 9-08, I just started wearing them in 3-09. The healing process is slow but sure and these shoes makes a HUGE difference.

I will continue buying the Guide even through all their upgrades because it, by far, is the shoe for me.

Oh - I can only workout on the bike or rowing machine and now my toes dont go numb and my knees don't heat up. I sneak sometimes and go for a walk which work well too. I used to have to stop every other block to beat on my calves or stretch my feet, but not anymore. I just ice them when I get home and do my regular therapeutic stretches. Hopefully I can get back into some real shoes by the beginning of the year.

I have owned numerous different Saucony shoes over the years, as the brand just seems to fit my wider flat foot. I both walk and run, and am rehabiliting a foot injury. This shoe has been great, and the custom orthotic I have been using fits perfectly. It is a quality shoe, and in fact this is my second pair of the very same shoe. Due to my injury I've had to wear these shoes all day everyday for the last 7 months. Great shoe, will buy them again!
