I am training for a 50 mile ultra marathon and thought I'd try the Injinji socks for my long training runs. They have been great for stopping blisters but I already have a hole in the socks. I've done 2 long runs that took about 7 hours and 3 shorter runs that took 2-3 hours. Even for performance wear I expect a pair of socks to last longer than a 12 pack of equivalently priced socks from Target. Good product that works but a major quality issue that doesn't match the price point.

These socks do the best to prevent blisters although they aren't 100% fool proof. I have a bunion on one foot so it is more prone to blisters because one toe rides on top of the other. The injinji's help alot but sometimes I would still get blisters. (I do marathon training). When I use a powder called "Blister Shield" along with my Injinji's I never have a problem. The powder is unlike baby powder as it doesn't absorb moisture but leaves a kind of a dry slippery film around the toes that prevents friction(much better than say vaseline or body glide-you don't get that squishy feeling). I love it. I do wish the Injinji's were made out of a material more like the asics or other running socks. The feel like they slip around a little. Still the best as far as preventing blisters go though.

This shoe replaced the NB 1122, which I loved! The NB 1123 is a lighter shoe that has good cushioning and great room to accommodate orthotics, if you order the correct shoe size. Unfortunately for me, the pair I ordered had a defect in the stitching at the ball of the shoe which started to ravel. I returned them but should have requested a replacement pair. I also liked the comfortable snug fit. So, if you suffer from heel spurs, falling arches, flat feet, soft feet, and you are an over-pronator, this might be the shoe for you too. If Amazon has my size, I will reorder this shoe.

These are a replacement after many pairs of NB 1122s. Still a great running shoe, but for some reason they've shortened the length of the tongue. Its hard to grasp the tongue to prevent it from sliding down when you put the shoe on.
