I bought these shoes for my first half marathon. They were great. I felt like I was running on little pillows. I only buy Asics they really last almost too long, These were replacing my 1120 which I really didn't know how wore they really were until I got the 2150.

I really like the way these shoes fit, except for one thing. The way the heel is designed, it rubs blisters on my inner heel every time I wore them for the first few times. However, I did notice that the muscles in my ankles and calves weren't nearly as fatigued as with my last shoes. Overall, they're a great shoe and I'd buy them again. Once they are broken in, they feel as good as they look.

I picked this product up at a local store for mid 's after getting sick of making my coffee with a stove top espresso machine. I couldn't see spending 0+ for something conceptually as simple as an espresso machine. I know someone who got a simple Krupps machine for about years ago and it still works just great. But since I couldn't find anything else in the sub range, I settled on this one.

It makes a fine cup of coffee if you just want to use prepackaged coffee grinds or you use a basic coarse to medium grind. BUT, when I tried to use a very fine grained "espresso" grind on my beans, almost nothing came out. It seems that too fine a grind stops up the filter holes and the machine just doesn't have the oomph to force the water/steam through.

Also, it does suffer from

- a very difficult to turn knob (don't get this product if you have arthritis)

- a caraf lid that won't stay on let alone stay properly oriented

So basically, it's good for making a medium to fairly strong cup of coffee (by my subjective measure), but if you really want something strong and sludgy, this machine won't do the trick unless you want to wait for an hour for it to eventually push enough liquid through.

I guess now I understand why espresso machines aren't cheap. Years of using a really simple stovetop espresso maker led me to believe that they're really simple machines. But perhaps when you try to package it up as an appliance it isn't so straight forward.

I have read so many negative reviews of this wonderful little moka machine, I must put in my 2 cents. First, this is a stream machine, meaning it makes moka not espresso. If you like Bialetti but want cappuccino instead of cafe latte, then this is perfect. The grind must be close to espresso, finer than for Bialetti, and you must tamp it down, but no tamper included. There is only 1 knob, yes it is stiff, but i don't have arthritis. The round design makes it easy to handle even though it is very light. It descales with...vinegar! How about that, actually a traditional machine. The panarello works, just put in extra "cup" of water for steaming. Make 2 "cups", not 1 or 4, and always start with cold machine, or use very, very cold water. Stop the brewing as soon as moka hits 2 "cups" or it starts to steam instead of brew, then switch the knob to steam for the milk. If you don't, coffee will taste slightly burned. I have owned espresso and moka machines from USD5 to USD1,000 over a period of 40 years. If you like moka, don't waste money on anything more expensive. But, like any machine, read the manual, and experiment if things don't work the way you want. Finally, garbage in garbage out. If you want great cappuccino, use good organic coffee and organic milk.

I run about 1200 miles a year, so good running shoes are very important to me. I had been using the Nike Air Equalon +3, which is a great running shoe, but after my third set (I replace my running shoes every 400 miles) I wanted to try something else and bought the Progird Hurricane 11 at my local running store. It was a good decision.

These running shoes are very comfortable and cushioned, stylish looking (I bought the white design), and have a nice medium arch for an overpronator like me (if you don't know what this means or how to determine what kind of feet you have, just do a Google search). While these are not better than the Nike Air Equalon +3, they do have a somewhat different fit since I seem to "feel" the road a little more, which I like, though this is a matter of personal preference.

I am very happy with these running shoes and recommend them. Like many running shoes, they run a little small, so you need to try these on and can't just go by your street shoe size.

Update February 9, 2010: I just bought my second pair of these since it was time to replace my old ones. I am still very happy with these running shoes. I bought them on Amazon for .00, which included shipping (I have Amazon Prime), and was the lowest price around. These running shoes list for 0.00, so the Amazon price is really good.

The Nimbus 11 is a great improvement on the already-fabulous Nimbus line of running shoes. I upgraded to this shoe after I started experiencing knee pain from my well-worn Nimbus 9's. I love the improvements in this shoe -- the lighter weight, cooler colors and asymmetrical lacing pattern which takes the laces slightly on a diagonal to match the natural contour of the foot rather than digging in to the top of the foot like some shoes do. I have virtually eliminated my knee pain since wearing these and have had no blisters or other foot issues. They feel great and I am very happy with the Asics Nimbus line of shoes. I also found that ordered 1/2 size up is a very good idea. Great running shoe!

Have been using these shoes for over 6 years now and this has got to be the best one by miles!!!! No stiching in the heel box means no rubing or blisters. Better lacing no hot spots and fantastic coushioning. Same size I always buy and fits perfectly. Goning to order another pair next month before they are all gone. I hope they don't change this shoe.
